This is the most wonderful Thai food and I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, I have now had two terrible experiences with DoorDash delivering orders from this restaurant. Both times they delivered to the wrong house, sent me a photo of a location I didn't recognize, and I was left without my food. This latest order was placed at 6:30 p.m., and by 8:00 p.m. I still had nothing. I want to be clear that the restaurant owner was wonderful and genuinely tried to help. The problem was entirely with DoorDash's delivery service and refund process. DoorDash offered only a $16 credit on a $60 order, which was incredibly disappointing. My advice: Order directly from the restaurant or pick it up yourself. The food is outstanding. Avoid using DoorDash if you can.

The Thai tea is quite unique! I never order take out from somewhere until after I try it and the waiter kindly recommended the drunken noodle dish. It was entirely lovely. The sauce is rich and the noodles are springy and delicious. The veggies are perfectly done and everything I had was very hot! I immediately went ahead and ordered to go! Very nice place. It seems to always be the ones that look like a small hole in the wall that serve the best food!

DTK Thai Kitchen is an absolute gem in Asheville, NC. My wife and I visited all the way from Washington State, and our local friend recommended this spot. It was a major highlight of our trip. From the moment we walked in, the great atmosphere set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The food was nothing short of amazing, with every single dish hitting the mark. We started with the chicken satay, which was tender and perfectly grilled. The rich curry and comforting tom yum soup delivered deep, authentic depths of flavor. For our mains, the savory pork dish was incredibly flavorful, and the pad se ew featured flawlessly caramelized noodles. Washing it all down with their sweet, refreshing Thai tea was incredible, but the sweet rice and sweet mango dessert completely stole the show at the end. What truly elevates this restaurant, however, is the staff. The service was impeccable throughout the evening—attentive, friendly, and lightning-fast without ever making us feel rushed. If you are a local or just traveling through North Carolina, do yourself a favor and visit DTK Thai Kitchen immediately. You will definitely not regret it.

One of the best thai restaurants around here. I should say, one of the best Asian places. If I go for Thai food, I go here. I always get their pad thai. Never disappoints. I have never waited for a table, even if I have seen them the busiest. I never wait more than 20 minutes for a to-go order. The people who run the restaurant are very nice and always have tbe order correct.

The crispy duck green curry was absolutely delectable, rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The drunken noodles were just as incredible. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. The restaurant has a very casual, laid-back vibe, clean, cozy, and welcoming.
